01. Raw Materials used in making of chewing gum/bubble gum
Perfetti Van Melle India complies with Food Safety and standard Regulation, 2011 for using raw materials in all its food products including Chewing Gum or Bubble Gum.
 
02. RM used in making of toffee/candy
Perfetti Van Melle India complies with Food Safety and standard Regulation, 2011 for using raw materials in all its food products including toffee or candy products.
 
03. Meaning of FSSAI logo
As per Food Safety and Standard Regulation, 2011, FSSAI logo on any food packaging indicates that the manufacture of that food product is licensed form FSSAI (Food Safety Standard Authority of India) to manufacture that product in corresponding food category as defined by FSSAI.
 
04. Meaning of RED logo in Fruittella
As per Food Safety and Standard (Packaging and Labelling) Regulation, 2011 Red or brown colored circle within a square logo on any food packaging signifies that the product contains raw-material(s) derived from animal sources and resultant finished product is called as a non-vegetarian food.
 
05. Whether Chewing gum is manufactured from veg/non veg source
As per Food Safety and Standard Regulation, 2011 when any raw material derived from animal sources is contained in a product it has to be identified with a Red or brown colored circle within a square as a symbol. Food Products bearing a Red or brown colored circle within a square on their packagings are called as non-vegetarian food. Food other than non-vegetarian food are called as vegetarian food and bear a green colored circle within a square on their packaging.
 
06. Why MRP is missing from mono wrappers?
MRP is a requirement of Legal Metrology (Package Commodity) Rules 2011. According to Legal metrology (Package Commodity) Rules, 2011, packaged commodities having declared net weight less than 10g  are exempted from declaration of MRP .
